This week I took a quick backpacking trip to Mount Timpanogos in the Wasatch Mountains. It's the second tallest mountain in Utah, and probably the most popular. It's only a 40 minutes drive and 7.5 mile hike from Salt Lake. Even though I went midweek I saw at least 40 people over the three days (I saw 20 hiking up as I was hiking out yesterday). Still everyone I saw was very respectful of the outdoors and obviously happy to be there and very friendly. You can check out the photos here:
